A contemporary philosophical movement – based on extensive cross-cultural study – which incorporates the key understandings from all the world's wisdom traditions (past & present) concerning human spiritual, psychological and social development. The resulting comprehensice map of human potential is informed by all the known sytems and models for human growth – from the ancient sages and shamans to contemporary breakthroughs in neuro-cognitive scienc – and distills their major components into four essential factors: States of mind, Stages of development, Lines of development & Type (M/F).

As a fifth factor, the four Quadrants provide a foundational framework upon which to map phenomena.
